About the Job


This position will leverage knowledge of T cell immunobiology, including T cell differentiation and trafficking to address fundamental questions of CD8 T cell differentiation, distribution, maintenance,
and function, as well as mechanisms of T cell migration and recirculation. Techniques include cell isolation from non-lymphoid tissues, flow cytometry, quantitative immunofluorescence microscopy,
mRNA isolation, and gene editing.
Responsibilities Include:
Research - 80%

  • Design and execution of experiments and collection of data.Presenting and Instruction - 20%
    • Present research and prepare publications.
      Qualifications


      Required Qualifications:
      • Applicants must have a Ph.D. in microbiology, immunology or other related biological science.
      • Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated expertise in developing scientific protocols and hypotheses, scientific writing, and outstanding letters of reference.Preferred Qualifications:
        • Knowledge of mouse models of LCMV infection, differentiation of memory and exhausted CD8 T
          cells, and flow cytometry.
