• Certifications: American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or equivalent in Radiation Therapy Physics.

  • Medical Physicist position available at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center.
  • Senior Physicist role with 8-hour days.
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Shift times vary between 6:30AM-6:00PM based on daily assignments.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining the Quality Assurance (QA) program, evaluation and implementation of new technology and techniques, maintaining templates, checklists, and therapy equipment.
  • Primary Case/Procedure Type: VMAT, SRS, SBRT, 3D planning.
    • Job Requirements
    • Required Education: Master's, Doctorate or PhD.
    • Minimum experience: 5+ years in specialty.
    • Experience with Aria, Eclipse and Truebeam required.
    • EMR: Epic preferred.
    • Desired Specific Skillset: Experience with Aria, Eclipse and Truebeam.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Length: 8-hour shifts.
      • Shift Start and End Times: 6:30AM-6:00PM.
      • Weekend Rotation Requirements to be discussed with Manager.
      • Holiday Rotation Requirements: None.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Overview: Collaborates with other senior staff on various tasks.
        • Maintains therapy equipment in record and verify system.
        • Provides radiation safety education to staff.
        • Current Patient Ratio to be discussed with manager.
