Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intermediate Care
(IMC), ICU, Med-Surg Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour
(19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2
years required; ICU and Pediatric experience required License:
Valid WI License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
Must-Have: Willingness to care for ICU, IMC, and Med-Surg patients
Job Description: - IMC variable acuity 20-bed unit, requiring
experience with adults and pediatric patients. - ICU experience is
mandatory, with the ability to manage a range of patient acuity. -
Ratio guidelines: ICU 1:1-3, IMC 1:4, Med-Surg 1:5-6, subject to
change based on patient acuity. - Must be willing to work every
other weekend and holiday as required. - Call requirement only for
low census or if picking up additional shifts. - Floating required
for low census to assist in ED/UC or PACU, task-oriented only, no
patient assignment. - AHA certifications are required before the
start. - Compliance and lab appointments must be completed promptly
to avoid cancellation. - Orientation includes up to 8 hours of
non-billable modules, recorded via Kronos.
